This is the leading procurement role in a UK Top 40 Construction & Civil Engineering business. You are therefore likely to be motivated by a core factor in your job – the autonomy to help an organisation change.

The Opportunity:
You will hold strategic and operational responsibility for the purchases of all goods and services across the Group, so you are really able to add leverage to our purchasing capability. Likely to already be working at Head of Procurement/Procurement Director/Chief Procurement Officer/Supply Chain Director level, you may well have ‘hit the ceiling’ in your current organisation - or are perhaps looking for a sideways move into an organisation of our size, that will offer you a different kind of 'expansion challenge'.

If you are looking for predictability or consistency in your next move – this won’t be for you.  We are on a steep growth curve and need you to help steer us through the new challenges this has created

About you:
You are a shaper, a nurturer, a strategist. You understand how to get the best out of people to unlock bigger-company solutions through human engagement and exceptional relationship-building with the most influential people in your supply-chain. You work collaboratively with your internal teams to achieve results – because they are the very people who have worked to get our organisation to where it is today.
