Careys Building & Civil Engineering were delighted to host a breakfast briefing for our site teams and client teams on the Grousemount Wind Farm Project and Ballyvouskill to Coomataggart 110kV Grid Connection Projects in Ballyvourney, Co. Cork today.

The Construction Industry Federation (CIF) safety week 2019 theme for the day was Working Safely with Electricity, which was timely given our 31km 110kV project went live on Friday last week and energisation of the first radials on the windfarm is due in the coming weeks. We are grateful to Dominick Fitzsimons ESB and Brendan Keane ESBI who spoke to our teams on the day.

Careys Building & Civil Engineering understand the importance of working safely with electricity and the risks involved. Supporting our behavioural safety culture of Safe Home Every Day (SHED), we have in place training courses and policies to ensure the safety and protection of our employees.
